A Maze of Terror
Stuck on a remote island turned prison, where the entire island is enclosed by walls 3-stories high, a girl finds herself in a game of cat and mouse as a group of terrorists roam the maze-like streets in search of life to take. The girl is fighting the clock for survival, as there is no way to really know where these terrorists could be.
As hours tick by seemingly slow for those who are cowering in fear, trying to find their way through the mazes where nobody can see over the walls, the horrific sounds of death can be heard echoing across the island every time a terrorist takes a life. The girl is sweating with her nerves shot as she tries to think how she can evade the terrorists. She has to move quickly and silently, yet always watching for shadows. The trick is, nobody can tell who is a terrorist and who is not.
Like a rodent scurrying the desolate streets, the girl makes her way in and out of buildings, trying desperately to find a nook or cranny she might be able to hide in to wait out the assaults. Every few minutes she can hear the sound of Death inching closer and closer. Time is running out.
In a miracle of sorts, the girl manages to find a complex maze in a building of corridors where she finds a small cupboard hidden and manages to squeeze inside. What seems like hours upon hours pass slowly as the girl is compacted inside this small cupboard, hoping and praying that the terrorists don’t find her. Not willing to risk being found, she won’t even open the door a crack, lest someone happen to see her. As time passes agonizingly slow, it seems like the terrorists have finally passed. Not a sound could be heard in the outside.
Just when the girl thinks it is finally safe to come out of hiding, however, an unusual sound can be heard descending upon the island. What could it be? Should she risk coming out after all?
