The lost connection
A man who was raised by adoptive parents begins to wonder about his roots. While establishing his own path as a young adult, he looks into the past he knows so little of. As he starts asking questions about his biological parents, he senses an uneasiness from his adoptive parents, prompting him to start looking elsewhere for answers.
The man hires a private detective to help unearth the past he grows more curious about. As he embarks on the quest for answers, however, he incurs increasing tension and pushback from his adoptive parents on the subject. The man is torn now between the loyalty to his adoptive parents and knowing the truth about his biological parents, whom seem to have vanished for good.
Meanwhile, somewhere thousands of miles away from the young man, is a woman who has been losing her memories. She was a writer, a storyteller, and in the process of writing her own story before it’s too late, but she has one big problem: she can’t even remember certain parts of her past. What feels like a blur to her is a crucial part of her life that she tried so hard to forget when she was younger, but now wishes she could remember. Little does she know, however, that the very past she is trying to remember is connected to the man thousands of miles away who is searching for the very same answers.
In a twist of unusual and mysterious roads, the young man eventually finds himself contacting this woman who seems to hold secrets to his past, and must figure out a way to convince her that she very well may be the long lost biological mother he has been searching for. If only he could prove it somehow to her, and help her uncover the mysteries of her past.
After months of attempting to establish a connection with the older woman, the young man finally makes a breakthrough, but they are fighting time as her memory increasingly gets worse. Will the young man find the answers he is looking for? Will the woman recover the past memories she worked so hard to bury, and will she ever get to finish her life story?
